Edoardo Rini was born in 1999 in Bergamo, Italy. He received both his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (2022) and his Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry (2025) cum laude from the University of Pavia. His Bachelor's thesis focused on the physicochemical properties of bioinks used in 3D bioprinting, while his Master's research, supervised by Prof. Giuseppe Zanoni, involved the total synthesis of ergoline through biomimetic cyclization strategies. In the same year, he began his Ph.D. studies in DIN Catalysis at the University of Perugia, in collaboration with the University of Pavia, under the joint supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Zanoni and Dr. Emanuele Casali. His current research focuses on copper-, iron-, and oxazaborolidine-catalyzed Diels–Alder reactions.
