Davide Orsatti was born in 1999 in Clusone (BG), Italy. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry in 2022 and his Master's Degree cum Laude in Organic Chemistry in 2025 at the University of Pavia, under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Zanoni. During his Master’s Thesis, he worked on the Total Synthesis of Indole-based alkaloyds, using a biomimetic cyclization reaction promoted by Iridium or Copper. In 2025, he began his Ph.D. studies at the same university, focusing on theexploitation of the recovered materials from NdFeB spent magnets to develop catalytic systems in the field of Organic Chemistry Synthesis. Alongside his research, Davide serves as a teaching tutor in Laboratory of Organic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry courses at the University of Pavia.
