In our research group, we're expanding our focus to a new and exciting frontier: radiolabeling. This technique allows us to incorporate radioactive atoms into molecules, creating "markers" that can be used to track and visualize molecules in living systems. This capability is transformative for both fundamental science and medicine. By following a molecule's journey through the body, we gain an unprecedented view of biological processes, from disease progression to drug metabolism. This helps us accelerate the development of safer and more effective treatments.
