Tommaso Massimini was born in 2000 in Lodi, Italy. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry in 2022 and his Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry cum laude in 2025 at the University of Pavia, under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Zanoni. During his Master’s Thesis, he worked on biomimetic cyclization reactions promoted by copper (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2025, 147, 42, 38772–38784). In 2025, he began his Ph.D. studies at the same university, focusing on upcycling processes and the use of neodymium in organic chemistry, particularly for the synthesis of high-value pharmaceutical intermediates and natural products.
